Responsibilities: As a Site Engineer on this Smart Motorways Project, you will be responsible for: 1 Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of the smart motorways project. 2 Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulations. 3 Surveying and Setting Out: Utilize surveying equipment to accurately set out and measure the work, ensuring precise alignment and leveling of motorway components. 4 Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the highest standards in construction and adherence to project specifications. 5 Health and Safety: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture on: site, conducting regular safety briefings and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. 6 Problem Resolution: Identify and address engineering issues, providing effective solutions to challenges that may arise during the course of the project. 7 Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, keeping them informed about progress, challenges, and any deviations from the project plan. Qualifications: 1 Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 2 Proven experience as a Site Engineer on infrastructure projects, preferably with exposure to smart motorways. 3 Proficiency in surveying equipment and engineering software. 4 Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and quality control processes. 5 Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 6 Ability to work in a fast: paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
