We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Horsham to assist with the appointment of a Senior Data and Information Officer , on a 13- month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Rate of Pay: £21.00 per Hour PAYE Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring systems are effective to meet business reporting requirements. Supporting the data management function devising collection systems, maintaining, processing and analysing data. Producing reports and briefings for a wide range of audiences and making recommendations to senior managers. Developing and maintaining effective lines of communication and good working relationships with internal and external organisations and partners. Remaining up to date with all relevant legislation, systems and organisational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct, in order to uphold standards of best practice. Requirements: Degree or equivalent qualification / experience in a relevant subject, demonstrating that level of applied knowledge in data management and analytical techniques. Significant experience of managing data management systems to meet business and external reporting requirements. Experience of supervising, directing, coordinating or training a small team.
