Make history with us.General SummaryTeamed with our Site Technical Leader, the Maintenance Reliability Engineer has a small team of technologist, each working within the different operations departments inside the plant. This person needs to have very good communication skills to both lead their direct reports as well as leading through influence across departments and management groups. This person needs to have a strong technical background, able to answer the "why won't this happen again" question, have Continuous Improvement as a personal core value, understand asset care strategies, and component failure analysis. They also need to have a strong background with CMMS and budget tools preferable SAP. This role will own our 90-day plan process across the Maintenance department, building strategy to create and sustain reliability and budgetary gains across the plant with a top loss approach.Principal Accountabilities--- 30% - Responsible for the execution of the Maintenance departments 90-day plan, reliability data, coaching, and tracking of results.--- 20% - Develops a competent and efficient Maintenance Department workforce. Assures personnel have the training, tools, supplies, and materials required for performing maintenance services.--- 20% - Strategic Planning - Develops, recommends, and reviews long-term strategies for expense and capital initiatives relating to the Maintenance Department and the successful operation of the plant. Key to the development of the strategic capital and savings plan for the facility.--- 20% - Driving and owning the failure analysis process across the Maintenance department. --- 10% - Department Budgeting - Monitors expense budgets for the Maintenance Department.Manages use of labor and materials to optimize department effectiveness.Job ComplexityAt the beginning of each fiscal quarter, we pull the reliability data from the last 90 days. We then separate this data into top losses buckets and build plans around improving and or eliminating these losses over the course of the next 90 days. Through the quarter we have check in meetings to track progress and assign help as needed to meet our goals by the quarters end. Achieving these goals is the primary responsibility of our Reliability Engineer and their team.Minimum RequirementsMinimum education required: BS degreeMinimum years of relevant experience: 5 years of experience in a plant-based reliability leadership roleSuperior listening skillsProcess minded problem-solving skillsExperience in a plant production environment, preferably, food processing orPharmaceuticalStrong people and relationship management skills with the ability to direct and lead others to deliver resultsExperience with preventative and predictive maintenanceWorking knowledge of SAPExperience and passion for introducing new techniques and technology'sFinancial budget experienceExcellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to successfully managemultiple priorities/assignmentsWillingness to work off-shifts, weekends and holidays as neededPreferred QualificationsEngineering degree strongly preferred.Preferred qualification: CMRP, Lubrication, PMP, or RCA certificationsPreferred experience: SAP CMMS and budget tool, capital project delivery, 24/7 technical leadership experience Strong analytical skillsWorking ConditionsWe are a 24/7 operating plant. Individual may work for extended periods on weekends or nightshift.Some travel is required with this role for network team, benchmarking visits, and self-development.Compensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$75,100-$135,100Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
