Howdy! My name is Kelis, and I'm a Pit Bull Terrier mix! I think I'm pretty cute if I do say so myself! I am currently 4 years old and weigh almost 70lbs. I have been at the shelter since November of 2022 and have already spent 2 birthdays and 2 holiday seasons here. Despite this, I have hope for the future and almost always have a smile on my face! Staff is always there to love on me and cheer me up. My dream is to find a loving family in 2024 to enjoy all the activities with. Can you please help me make that happen? You have no idea how much that would mean to me!I am a very sweet and lively girl! My dream home would include a big fenced-in backyard to play in. Tennis balls are my favorite toy and I LOVE to carry them around. Give me a tennis ball, and I'll love you forever. I can't get enough of them! Cats on the other hand are a mysterious creature to me, and I would prefer a home without them. I enjoy children, and age 13 years or older would be the perfect fit due to my activity level and size. I enjoy interacting with my canine friends, so let's set up a dog meet and greet with any dogs you own before taking me home. I promise that I'll fill your life with lots of love and snuggles! I'm so ready to meet you!Adoption processUpon adoption of either a cat or dog, adoption fees do vary. All adoption fees include up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. Every adopter must submit an adoption application and be approved before meeting the animal they are interested in.
