I am a ton of love in a small package. I had a rough couple of years at the beginning of my life and I have a few scars to show for it but I didn’t let that break my spirit. I’m really liking this new life living in a house and cuddling with humans. I’m a silly boy who likes to play with toys and people and then follow up with some warm snuggle time in a soft blanket or in your lap. I like all people, but I am cautious about new faces. I don’t growl or get angry, but I might be a little scared for a while. If I get some warmup time, I can make friends with anyone. I currently live with 2 adults, a teenager, a small dog about my age and a cat. If the cat runs, I will chase her, but I am quick to stop when reprimanded. I really like the other little dog in the house and follow her everywhere, but I think I would be just fine being an only dog if I get all the love. I am house trained and have zero accidents in my foster home, but I do get taken outside a lot. I’m very curious about all the outside smells and don’t always listen to come back inside when I’m having fun, so I think I need to have a fenced yard without any little holes or be outside on a leash for bathroom time. I like to walk on a leash and do great riding in a car. I do well in a comfy kennel, and I will sleep all night in there if I need to, but I really do prefer sleeping in beds with the humans.
