Kirby has had it pretty rough but is doing so much better. He was adopted out by us in the fall but over winter ended up being attacked by a dog. His owner couldn't physically tend to his needs so she surrendered him back to us. She is too scared that another attack may happen to take him back. He has a slight issue with dry eye and we are still medicating his ears from the attack but he is back to being a snuggle buddy and seems to be good with the other dogs in the house as long as he knows the won't hurt him. has been on all sorts of meds to get everything cleared up and we are almost there. He does have a persistent cough that we validated was not an issue via xray. We estimate he is around 4 years old and is about 10lbs. He will need eye drops as much as daily to keep his eyes working right. As for the cough, it doesn't bother him much and comes and goes, kinda like the Cleveland crud. Adoption is $300 which includes his spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.
