Plan, implement and supervise the program for the class consistent with the center's policies, philosophy and curriculum. Maintain necessary documentation as required. Gear program to the needs of individual children in concern for their interests, special needs, talents and pace of learning. Teach proper health care with regard to toileting needs, nutrition, physical and dental care, cleanliness of the children and environment. Maintain an organized classroom with regard to the arrangement and appearance of all materials. Communicate with parents regarding information concerning their children and their daily activities at the center and inform the director of any parent concerns. Attend staff meetings and required training programs and conferences. Associates degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field. No additional experience required. Child Development Associate Credential or 9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field. Two years childcare exp. Head of group for infants/toddlers: In addition to the above, one year of specific training/experience in infant or toddler care.Salary: $36,200-$41,630. Competitive benefits package.
