Looking up at the website horn-u-copia, we can look and see that the 8000 series serial numbers identify as 1932. www.horn-u-copia.net/serial/Oldslist.html Go to this website and find the serial number, U8034, and find the manufacturer date of 1932 I've taken the trombone in to a reputable brass instrument repair shop and they did an ultra sonic clean hand slide section and bell section. Replace felts and corks, align, straighten, improve hand slide alignment. Texas flusher outer slide, strap, align and grease main tuning slide. Clean case. Included with the F. E. Olds & Son Trombone are two separate music booklets from that same era. See pictures for more pics information. Please contact seller any more information.
