Technical Service Specialist ( Material's Manager)

Job Description:** This position is NOT REMOTE - it is 100% ON SITE at our client location in San Antonio, TX** * Experience with automotive coatings application and/or automotive coatings experience. (Preferred) * Materials management, inventory, ordering, invoicing * Manage relationships with manufacturing & engineering team at customer sites. * Maintain key communication regarding daily projects, materials shortage, inventory. * Initiate/participate in internal & external business meetings. * Build relationships (all levels) - internal & external. * Support change initiatives that help teams deliver value. * Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while handling multiple projects. * Knowledge of general paint processes - robotic applicators (preferred) * Knowledge and troubleshooting paint quality issues. * Knowledge of mixroom functions - inventory control, usage, (viscosity, temperature). * Able to work under stressful situation (quality issues/ spills). * Good personality, friendly, outgoing - effective communicator. * Ability to adapt to flexible shifts (day shifts), occasional weekend work, and OT. * Coordinate projects with Axalta internal and customer external teams to meet demands anddeadlines of current and future projects. * Active participant in troubleshooting and collaboration with the customer on site to resolve product issues and advice for best practices. * Work with the Axalta team members in the mix room in the use of delivery systems and mix machine.Qualifications: * High School diploma required. Additional education/college degree ideal. * Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power BI PowerPoint, Outlook). * Experience SAP R4 Fiori (QP4 warehouse transactions preferred) * Additional education/college degree in Engineering/Management field is highly preferred. * The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of automotive coatings application and/or automotive coatings manufacturing experience. * Additional experience with automotive painting equipment is highly preferred. * The ideal candidate must have an understanding of technical (lab, research, etc.) principles and practices. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required. * The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while handling multiple projects at any given time. * Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, SAP) preferredOur Company:Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
