In her kennel space, currently she is in an outdoor facility among other dogs and the family that lives there. Where does the dog sleep? On her doggy bed in the kennel area. Temperament/Personality: Yorda is a truly exceptional girl, radiating playful energy. she is active, adventurous, observant, remarkably intelligent and a fast learner. She enjoys treats, and a love for walks and exploration. She adores toys and affection and her heart lights up in the company of people and other dogs to play with. What does the dog's ideal home look like? A Home with an active person that enjoys outdoor activities, daily walks and social interactions with people and dogs. Also, Yorda will be great as a family dog in a house with kids and other dogs. What is the dog's rescue story? Yorda was born in the wooded area in the outskirts of Guadalajara. Her Mom was spotted getting food out of garbage bins. A good person that lived around the area realized that she had 5 puppies and started to place food for her to be able to survive and feed her pups and to start gaining her trust. Yorda s mom was a feral dog, not accustomed to humans. As time progressed, they started realizing the number of puppies were reducing in number, probably taken as prey by other wild animals. A group of professional rescuers gathered to take the Pack into safe keeping (Mom Yorda and her 2 remaining siblings).Yordas siblings were successfully adopted in the WA. Area, but for Yorda she was given for adoption here in Guadalajara hoping for the best, unfortunately one year later her family didn’t want her anymore as it usually happens when they grow out of being puppies. Fortunately, Yorda's rescuer knew about this and took Yorda back in order for her to have a chance to find her much deserved home in the Seattle area as it should have been since the beginning. But time is not wasted as we know there will be a perfect family for her. Yorda is waiting in Mexico until a family is committed to fostering her or taking him on a trial.
