Job Quick Facts--- Specialty: Pediatric Critical Care Medicine --- Job Type: Locum Tenens --- Location: Tucson, AZ --- Service Setting: Inpatient --- Reason For Coverage: Supplemental --- Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing --- Coverage Type: Clinical Only --- Shift Schedule: TBD - 24 hour In-House prescheduled shift --- Patient Volume: 12 --- Admissions: Yes --- Support Staff: 95 RNs, 1 Office Staff --- Procedures: - Vent Management (Pediatric and Newborn; Acute and Chronic), Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy) - Non-invasive Vent Management (Neo-puff), Non-Invasive (BiPAP/CPAP) - Intubation (ETT/NT; Newborn and Pediatrics) - Conscious and Deep Sedation - Insertion of C-Line, A-Line - Diagnostic/therapeutic taps, Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis - Chest Tube insertion, Needle pneumothorax, Decompression - Xray and EKG interpretation - Eval. And management of acute volume/BP issues --- No of Beds: 12 --- EMR: Epic --- Temporary Privileges available: Yes --- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
