Working for GFL is more than a job - it's an opportunity to grow in your career, make new friends, and make a difference each day.Key Responsibilities: * General maintenance and operation of a mobile belt press focusing on both quality and quantity of production. * Set up and tear down equipment at customers' treatment facilities. * Maintain clean equipment and work area including shoveling and hosing. * Abide by regulatory compliance and safety guidelines. * Operate a tractor-trailer truck on site (non-highway) to stage trailers for loading. * Operate additional pumps and ancillary equipment on site. * Make down polymer solution for dewatering process. * Maintain daily production log. * Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management. Requirements: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED). * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Valid state issued driver's license. * Willing and able to obtain a Class D Wastewater Operator's license. * Work flexible hours to include overtime and weekends as projects demand. * Ability to travel as work demands.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Basic mathematical skills and tool knowledge. * Ability to follow instructions and perform duties under limited supervision. * Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform job. * Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. * Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. * Ability to read, write, and comprehend reports to accurately complete daily assignments. * Ability to judge the distance between equipment and an object. * Ability to work in accordance with Company safety policies & procedures, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal laws.Physical/Mental Demands: * Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach and lift in an outdoor environment 90% of the time. * Must be able to use hands and fingers, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, climb and balance. * Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. * Ability to manually lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly. * Ability to manually push/move up to 50 pounds with assistance from another employee.Working Conditions: * Outdoors in varying adverse weather; low/high temperatures, wet and/or high humidity or sudden temperature changes. * Exposure to outdoor elements, unpleasant odors, small space such as vehicle/equipment cabs, exposure to fumes, dust, or uneven ground.#GFLTalentWe thank you for your interest.
