Hi! I’m Nelson! I’m a sweet four year old male and I love to talk. I was found as a stray but know I’m in good hands now. When you first meet me, I may be a little shy. But, once I get to know you, I’ll purr. I’m up-to-date on everything and neutered. I’m fine with being around other cats, but would probably do best in a home that has older kids and calm dogs. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and otherwise healthy, unless noted in the description. Our adoption area is within 50 miles of Franklin/Bargersville, IN. February 20, 2024, 4:52 pmAdoption processAt HMF our adoption process requires potential adopters to first submit an application expressing their interest in a specific pet. Once the application is approved a meet n greet will be scheduled for the potential adopter to meet the particular pet they are interested in adopting. If the meet n greet goes well then a home visit will be schedule and that is when we will bring your new pet home to you. Our adoption fees are $300 for puppies under 6 months of age (includes spay/neuter at appropriate age); $175 for adult dogs; $100 for mature/medical/special needs dogs; $100 for kittens under 5 months of age (includes spay/neuter at appropriate age); $50 for adult cats; and $35 for mature/medical/special needs cats. Our small animal (i.e., guinea pigs, hamsters, etc.) adoption fee is $25.Shelter locationWe hold a monthly adoption event on the last Saturday of each month from 12-3 at 4247 N State Road 135, Franklin, IN 46131.
