A lovely Antique early 19th C. Oil on Canvas Painting, Ship's Captain Portrait, Seated at Window with Spyglass in Lap, Seascape View out Window with Sailboats. Excellent Condition, slight surface wear to the painting, a couple of small paint flakes at his white shirt, a few tiny insect holes at the top right area in the red area, the canvas has been relined at some point in the past, laid out & glued on a board outer perimeter looks like some added paint. You can reference the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the condition. Measuring 21 3/4" x 18" weighing 2lb 14oz no artist signature. Wonderful colors and details, a great Maritime Portrait Painting, man at window with drapes, seated, he appears to be a sea captain with spyglass in his lap, clippers at harbor.
