UPDATE: Our sweet Rowen craves someone to love him, and offer him a fun-loving home. He has been with us for three weeks now. He came in with a known owner, so we held him for the required 12 days. In the middle of that time, he was diagnosed with Parvovirus and we treated him aggressively so he would be ready if his person came back for him. When that didn’t happen, we began working with him in order to help him adapt and be ready for adoption. And then this week, the poor little boy ended up with an injury to his left front leg. All he wants is for someone to love him. We are giving him prescribed pain meds, trying to keep him fairly quiet, and see if he will heal without any other intervention. Rowen is one of the most appreciative pups we have ever met, and we truly want him to get into a home and be adored and played with. Are you interested in a special little boy? Please consider Rowen! - - - This sweet boy has been waiting for his family to come back and get him, but apparently they decided not to do that so he is now being placed for adoption. He is extremely active, loves running in the yard, and we can just imagine what he would do if he had a duck to retrieve and carry around in his mouth. We’re hoping he is a water lover!
