Bio: Mary is a Deaf 3 Year old Pitty who has been searching for a forever is May of '22. Mary originally came in to a Texas shelter where she would eventually face euthanasia. Mary has now been in Wisconsin since November, patiently waiting for the real deal to come along! Mary does great with potty training, but a few accidents In a new environment are to be expected. She LOVES anyone who will give her attention, snacks, and snuggles. Mary can take time to feel confident with new dogs, and does not appreciate those who "test" her with lunging or light snaps. Being deaf she can initially be on edge and feel the need to defend herself, understandably so. With that said she is incredibly easy to correct and does not intend to cause harm. It is INCREDIBLY important than an adopter realizes and understands not startling a Deaf animal. Especially when they are not yet adjusted to their environment. Mary is an amazing girl and very much worth any extra effort. She does not need to be kenneled once comfortable, and will snuggle you all night long. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc.
