English Foxhound Mix Dog for Adoption in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, 02557 USNickname: Cedric Posted Breed: Foxhound / Mixed. Cedric is a lovable and energetic pup who loves to cuddle as much as playing outside. He will initially act shy and bashful but after 5 minutes of observing you, he will show you his real self: A happy, zoomies-loving boy. He gets attached quickly to his humans and dog-friends. He also loves cats and will sniff them delicately to say hi. He will make you fall in love with his huge bug-eyes. Besides running and playing fetch, he is obsessed with plush toys. His leash-walking skills are great and he is comfortable in a crate. Cedric was found abandoned in a park in Houston alongside other dog pals. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you). All breeds listed are educated best estimates by transferring shelter staff, our volunteers or our vets. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort. If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation.
