Beagle Dog for Adoption in Valrico, Florida, 33595 USNickname: Deacon Posted Breed: Beagle. Adoption Fee: $200.00. Little Deacon's wandering days of hunger and thirst were over when he had the good fortune to wander up to a farm where there were some kind people. Within a week we had him in Florida and he's now settling in quite well in a foster home. He is with several other dogs and gets along well. Deacon’s got a hearty appetite but he's missing a few teeth, so he doesn't quite know what to do with treats. You won’t see any food aggression though. He just takes what’s his and leaves the other dogs and their food alone. Deacon appears to be house trained and loves his doggie bed and does well in a crate too. Deacon is heartworm negative and his bloodwork came back looking great. His heart and lungs sounded good and we moved forward with his neuter surgery and a good dental. We also gave him a Cytopoint injection for his itching. We'd like him to continue to regain some good health but he will soon be ready for a sleepover - we'll keep you posted on this baby!
