The successful Speech and.The Speech Therapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6/7 Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist in Chester. The successful Speech and Language Therapist will be working full-time hours across Monday to Friday. We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to cover paediatric caseload. Previous experience of with children and young people ideally in school settings is desirable for this role. Position: Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist Banding: 6 or 7 Payrate: £28-34 per hour Location: Chester Hours: 37.5 hours per week Duration: 3 months contract Essential skills: - HCPC Registered - Need to have a good knowledge and experience of the EHCP/SEND process, and also be willing to travel to different school settings to complete intervention. - Experience of working with children and young people ideally in school settings, although this is not essential - Must be a car driver - Dysphagia trained - Relevant qualification in Speech and Language Therapy Note: We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organisation WHO Workforce Support and Safeguard List.
