Adopt Yeah Yeah a Gray or Blue Domestic Shorthair / Mixed cat in Gibsonia

Location:
Gibsonia, PA
Description:

Yeah Yeah is ready his FOR-EV-ER home! Yeah Yeah came to us with his 3 siblings: Benny, Smalls, and Squints. Yeah Yeah was one of the shyer siblings at first, but once he warmed up, he couldn't get enough love! While Yeah Yeah is a bit more reserved in general, he still has a lot of spunky kitten energy and loves to play with a variety of toys, such as a laser pointer, jingly balls, string toys, crinkly toys... Yeah Yeah would love to go home with his brother, Benny, who is a bit more outgoing but definitely shows Yeah Yeah how to party. Yeah Yeah doesn't love being picked up but can easily get used to that more if someone is willing to give him a little time and patience with it. Once he's comfy, he is a big purr machine and loves pets! Yeah Yeah may do ok in a home with dogs with proper introductions. He is sweet enough to be with kids but it would have to be a slower introduction with them as well as he's still getting used to regular household noises. Yeah Yeah absolutely loves food (especially wet food!) and is a solid boy! Yeah Yeah is about 9 months old, neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FELV tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. Yeah Yeah has a little bit of a leaky eye as you may see, but it does not both him or cause any issues. Yeah Yeah has also had a little bout of Ringworm, which he's all cleared from, and his two siblings, Smalls and Squints, are currently being treated for FIP, so we advise anyone interested to do research on FIP. Disclaimer: Yeah Yeah came to TCR with littermates who were recently diagnosed with FIP. FIP is caused by a commonly contracted feline coronavirus (FeCV), which must mutate within the cat to become FIP. FIP can have a genetic component, making some littermates more susceptible to succumbing to the disease. FIP most commonly occurs in cats younger than 1.5 years of age. Yeah Yeah is currently healthy, but to be overly cautious we would want to discuss the typical symptoms of FIP and what to watch out for with any interested adopters.
