Our family of three, adopted Brida from a foster family in April of 2022 (she was 6 mo). We had previously owned a Boxer/Pit mix so we knew the attention that was needed, however, we underestimated giving her that ideal exercise and attention while having a toddler in the household. Brida will be two in October. We are now expecting our second child in October and our older dog's health is ailing, so she is not able to keep up with Brida. The toddler, upcoming newborn, and older dog in the house is proving to be too much for our family. We are open to keeping her if we cannot find the right fit as we oppose to put her in the shelter system, but we have come to the conclusion that she would be happier in a home that keeps her more active. Brida is an active and lovable pup with some slight food aggression (able to be controlled by monitoring feeding. treats, etc. around other dogs). She has been to dog training and knows basic commands. She walks on leash well with a prong collar.
