Southland Holdings Lake Worth, FL Southland Holdings is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated construction workers to join our team as an Equipment Operator - Finish Dozer Operator Duties: Safe operation of a Finish Dozer Handling and/or moving material Maintain daily logs of equipment usage, maintenance of equipment Identify, report and correct hazards Perform tasks maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure all work is done in a manner which enhances safety of the work environment Read locate sheets and possible underground and/or overhead utilities Analytical and problem solving skills Requirements: Must be physically capable of navigating rugged terrain for the purpose of performing the duties outlined above. Must work in all weather conditions and be prepared for both extreme heat/cold Knowledge of sub-base materials and aggregation placement and compaction Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures including but not limited to backing up procedures, use of flagmen and spotters, signage, incident reporting, required personal safety equipment and lifting heavy loads. Knowledge of underground and overhead services and articulation Must be able to work independently and maintain a schedule of work. Knowledge of excavator/backhoe loading requirements; load charts; critical picks Must pass post offer drug screen Desired qualifications: OSHA safety training and a current First Aid and CPR certificate Full-Time Employee Benefits: Competitive pay, Health/Dental/Vision/Life & 401K company match.
