Accounting Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to join our team in our Irving, Texas office. The ideal candidate will manage the accounts receivable/accounts payable process efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Processing accounts receivable/payable and incoming/outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable/payable data Preparing bills receivable, invoices and bank deposits Reconcile the accounts receivable/payable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted . Verify discrepancies by and resolve billing issues Facilitate payment of invoices due Monitor financial transactions Communicate with vendors, customers and colleagues Report the status of accounts and discrepancies Respond to ad hoc requests for reporting and financial information Participate in special projects as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven working experience and expertise in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Journal Entry, Bank Statement Reconciliation, Month-End-Close and Reporting Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records Data entry skills, along with a knack for numbers Hands-on proficient experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (SAP or other full-scale ERP software) Intercompany accounts receivable and accounts payable experience Proficiency in English and MS Office, including Excel Customer service orientation and negotiation skills A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and maintaining accuracy Attention to detail and organizational abilities Proven performance in a team environment Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and coworkers Reliability and strong work ethic Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform tasks BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred, and/or at least five years of working experience as an Accounting Specialist ABeam offers a comprehensive benefits package to our full-time employees Medical Dental Vision Disability & Life Insurance Flexible spending account Flextime off 401(k) with employer match ABeam Consulting provides all qualified applicants consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin disability, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected class, according to applicable law.
