The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in tax law, litigation experience, and exceptional analytical skills.Duties:Represent clients in tax litigation proceedings.Provide legal counsel on tax controversies, including civil and criminal matters.Handle whistleblower claims and voluntary offshore disclosures.Conduct legal research and analysis related to tax laws and regulations.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Attend hearings, trials, and negotiations on behalf of clients.Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex cases.Requirements:Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.LLM in Taxation is required.Must be licensed to practice law in NC.3-5 years of tax litigation experience.Experience in tax court proceedings.Knowledge of civil and criminal tax law.Familiarity with whistleblower claims and voluntary offshore disclosures.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and research abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and accuracy.Time management and organizational skills.Candidates with a proven track record of success in tax litigation and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services are encouraged to apply.
