Buy with Confidence:This Marantz MM8003 8-channel power amplifier is a top-of-the-line model, delivering 140 RMS watts per channel into 8 ohm loads. All 8 channels have been fully tested in my audio lab with a 1 KHz test signal at maximum power. With 8 inputs and 8 outputs, this amplifier allows for easy connectivity and versatility. The audio inputs are compatible with both RCA and XLR, providing options for a variety of devices. Ideal for home audio and entertainment systems, this amplifier is a must-have for any audiophile.The amp is also capable 95 peak to peak Volts of instantaneous surge amplification without overloading or distortion into 8 ohm loads.There are cosmetic issues with this amp. Front, sides and top have scratches. I touched up marks with a Black Oil Base paint pen. Not obvious in low light situations as can be seen in the photos.The amp also has remote control Inputs and outputs on the back of the amp. This allows the amp to be remotely powered on from your Preamp providing it has this capability. Note: The amp's remote control capability was not tested.Photo 5 shows the amp's red light in Standby mode in low lighting.Photo 6 shows the amp's blue light in Power On mode in low lighting.Photos 7 through 14 shows an oscilloscope screen capture of each channel operating at maximum power at 1 kHz into 8 ohms.I was using in my home theater until I upgraded to McIntosh.
