Sugar - is one of our oldest cats. She is a 15 year old special needs tabby with a short tail. Don’t let her age fool you though. Sugar loves being pet, loves to tell stories while she talks and purrs. Sugar will be on thyroid meds for the remainder of her life. So she will need a family that can take the very best care of her and her thyroid issues. She may be 15 but she still acts like she is 3 at times and zooms around the kitty bunkhouse.Adoption processWe require an adoption application to be filled out and may request a home visit if deemed necessary. Potential adopters are counseled on the special needs that many lab animals have and will work with a staff member to find a good match for their home. All adopters sign an adoption contract, as well, and are encouraged to keep in touch with pictures and stories!Shelter locationPotential adopters are welcome to visit Kindness Ranch and meet the animals by appointment. We sometimes hold adoption events in Cheyenne, WY and Casper, WY.
