Sweet calm and gentle Katarina had a really rough start, she came to us with lesions in her eye so severe one needed to be removed. Easygoing calm, collected and extremely lovable she was adopted promptly only to be returned to us a month later. Katarina is a different kitty this time around and we're not sure what she's been through what we do know is she's sad. This time around she's more fearful and takes only a few moments to realize you won't hurt her. She sits quietly in her cage but comes out of her shell once she realizes you mean her no harm. She seems to be very relieved but also confused as to why she's back here at the shelter as if she did something wrong and I can assure you she did not. Anyone would be lucky to have this sweet girl in their life. Katarina is kind, affectionate and searching for a deep and meaningful connection. Katarina hasn't had an easy prologue but he story can be a complete fairytale once someone realizes how amazing she is. Katarina is easy going and won't insist upon attention or playtime but all she wants is someone who really loves her, whatever that means to you. Katarina likes when you speak a lot to her as if she's etching your pitch into her heartstrings so the voices you make are her music. It seems like Katarina is searching for someone consistent and devoted just like she is. Could that be you ? Please come meet her at the Town of Hempstead animal shelter.
