Schultz Commemorative Stratocaster created by Fender of Corona, California to honor the passing of company president and savior Bill Schultz, who purchased the iconic but struggling company from CBS in 1985 and rebuilt it from the ground up by restoring its legendary status among musicians and music enthusiasts alike, and returning Fender to the undisputed world leader in instruments.This is one of only 5 such guitars produced - a modern rarity awarded to the top four players in a 2008 golf event named in honor of Schultz, with a fifth presented to the mayor of Corona at the tournament.
