SPECIAL NEEDS! Panda is an extra large, sweet, adult cat. He has lived most of his life outdoors, but is adjusting well to being indoors. He enjoys being petted and tolerates being brushed as long as you don’t get too close to his hind end. He’s good at using scratching posts and will occasionally surprise you with a wild play session with his toys! Panda likes his daily wet food treats and will occasionally tell you all about it. His big purr matches his size, and he loves to bury his head in soft blankets and “make bread.” Panda did test positive for FIV, which puts him at higher risk for catching other infectious illnesses. However, cats with FIV can live long healthy lives when kept indoors and provided appropriate care. Panda should be either an only cat or with other cats that are FIV+. In fact, Panda has a brother who is also available for adoption! Panda would do best in a home with older children or adults. This big boy deserves a great home and is guaranteed to make you smile!Adoption processOur adoption process is simple and inclusive of all community members.Shelter locationWe hold monthly adoption events at our local PetSmart and have 2 major adoption events each year, which are advertised on our Facebook page and website.
