This beautiful painting by listed artist Franz Weiss depicts a serene woodland landscape, with trees and wilderness as the main subject. The item is from Tennessee, USA, and is an Americana art piece from the early 1900's to the 1950's.CONDITION: Overall in good condition. I believe it needs a cleaning & a bit of paint restoration; I'd love to see the true colors of this piece. I pointed out where there is paint loss near the man's face, and the whole gesso frame has split over time, and has cracks througout but not to the detriment of the piece.
