About this role: Corporate & Investment Banking ("CIB") delivers a comprehensive suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services. A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transactional banking; commercial real estate lending and servicing; investment banking; equity; and fixed income solutions including sales, trading, and research capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients across the globe.The Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging (REGAL) team within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Coverage is seeking a Vice President, Lead Investment Banker - REGAL, to join its team. In this role, you will: Lead complex initiatives as a high level individual contributor in the Fixed Income Sales, Equities Sales, Trading, or Investment Banking Capital Markets Divisions, including those that are cross-functional and have broad impactExecute capital markets and M&A transactions for our corporate clientsParticipate in large-scale planning for Investment Banking functional areaReview and analyze complex, multi-faceted, large-scale, and long-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factorsMake decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring understanding of Investment Banking functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with Investment Banking peers, colleagues, and middle to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead Investment Banking projects and teams, or serve as a peer mentor Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Securities industry experience including Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging coverageStrong analytical and quantitative skillsEffective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to interact with all levels of an organizationKnowledge and understanding of business development: business vision, strategies, and goalsInvestment banking experienceA Master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics or related fieldsStrong, clear and concise written and oral communication skillsStrong credit skillsAbility to analyze trends in the competitive marketplace and related marketing developmentsExperience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadershipAbility to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment Job Expectations: Ability to travel up to 50% of the timeRegistration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be acceptedRegistration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
