Description: **Two potential shifts for this position: First shift 4X10A-(6am-4:30pm), Mon-Thurs (10 hours a day)OR First shift 4X10B (6am-4:30pm), Tues-Fri (10 hours a day)**Are you a leader who enjoys a fast paced manufacturing environment looking to make an impact in the exciting world of microelectronic devices? We are actively seeking a highly motivated candidate who is willing to take on the challenges with a can do attitude to join our production team in the Microelectronic Center at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. You'll be working on the forefront of production activities for our most cutting edge missile and fire control product lines such as the Hellfire II Missile, the Joint-Air-to-Ground Missile, the Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod and the F-35 Sensor.The supervisor position in the Microelectronics Center will lead and supervise union represented workers in assembly, solder, plating, wafer fabrication and test. Responsibilities include; prioritization of hardware through assembly processes, hardware status reporting to center and program leadership, management of Quality, Schedule and Cost goals for multiple programs, support development and implementation of process improvements, energize team members and hold operators accountable for performance.Must have good conflict resolution skills and the ability to build respectful working relationships.Must be able to work in a fast paced, flexible environment, including overtime periods, as needed.This position is for first shift (6am-4:30pm), Mon-Thu. Basic Qualifications: - Completed Bachelor's degree - 4+ years of professional manufacturing experience with a completed Bachelors or 2+ years with a completed Masters degree .- Experienced user of Microsoft Office Software-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)- Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. DOD Security clearance.-Must be willing to work a 4X10A or 4X10B schedule (please see details of schedule in job description) Desired Skills: -Bachelor's degree focus in business, engineering, or other manufacturing related.-Prior leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment.-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)-Demonstrated leadership competencies consistent with the tenets of Full Spectrum Leadership-Experience with supporting development and delivery of training programs-Experience tracking and managing cost, quality, and schedule, in a manufacturing environment-Experience working in a union environment-Manufacturing experience in Aerospace and Defense industry-Demonstrated ability to apply lean manufacturing techniques to drive continuous improvement-Understanding and ability to utilize and apply Lean/6 Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement-SAP/APRISO experience Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
