Sweet tabby Earl is the son who never left the nest. He and his mother, Poppi, are a package deal. Whether by chance or design, even though Poppi had multiple litters and his siblings flew the coop, Earl stayed by his mom’s side. Earl still has kitten energy and loves to play, whether with his mom/best friend or his favorite toy, the feather stick. That said, he’s happy to sit beside you on the couch and will crawl into your lap for snuggles. Earl is most definitely a people cat, and he and Poppi will make an entertaining, adorable, and ever-present pair in your life. Earl was born around Aug 2022.Adoption processOnce you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend an online group seminar on cat care. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older. All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered.
