Youth Ministry Leadership Experience (Small Group Leader, Internships, etc.). Excellent Communication Skills, including: experience, passion and confidence with public speaking and one-on-one meetings with youth and adults. Excellent Social Media Skills. Role: Youth Pastor/Director: Job Summary: This part time position (20 hours/week) is responsible for leading a growing youth ministry, providing Christ-centered, enthusiastic leadership to recruit, support, and maintain participation of youth. The Youth Pastor will collaborate with Lead Pastor and all other ministry teams, and provide leadership to recruit, train and support volunteers. Purpose Statement: The YTH Director oversees and ensures student-friendly environments for teens 6th-12th grade. Directors provide leadership and direction to equip team leaders and volunteers to fulfill the church’s vision and mission through Kairos YTH. Oversee: Teaching, Groups, Events, Calendar, Assimilation, Promotion, Weekly Time Investment: 18-20 Hours Overall Weekly Responsibilities: • Care for moment makers through discipleship and prayer• Recruits and Trains Kairos YTH team leaders and moment makers• Serves as liaison between Kairos YTH and church staff and ministries• Manages Kairos YTH supplies and distributes to team leaders, moment makers and students• Invests in apprentice leaders and delegates responsibilities• Proactively promotes and challenges team to promote the ministry and all of it's activities.• Onboard New Volunteers & Schedule and Meet with Volunteers Monthly• Plan weekly and/or monthly events/games/activities• Plan Summer Camp and/or Winter Retreat• Taking care of all opening up, setting up and closing responsibilities at the building for all student related events.• Provides weekly group material and training for group leaders.• Ensure there is weekly contact with students & parents• Attend weekly staff meeting• Communicate with Worship + Presentation for weekly service needs.• Present and helping at all Kairos Church events.• Assisting Lead Pastor with any pastoral/administrative duties. Role: Worship & Presentation Coordinator Purpose Statement: The Worship and Presentation Coordinator plays a key role in overseeing the musical, artistic, creative, and presentation elements for all church worship services and events. This role assists the Worship Director and works closely with team leaders to ensure seamless coordination of worship and presentation aspects. Teams: Worship, Audio, Presentation, Lights, Cameras, Photographers Weekly Time Investment: 18-20 Hours Overall Weekly Responsibilities: 1. Provide leadership to the worship and presentation ministry, aligning with the church's vision.2. Assist in recruiting and on-boarding worship and presentation team volunteers.3. Collaborate in the creation of weekly set lists and provide them to the team.4. Set lights and presentation slides/graphics for worship services and events.5. Help schedule weekly rotations for worship and presentation teams.6. Review service recordings to enhance personal and team performance.7. Continue to learn and grow as a musician. 8. Schedule photographers for events and services.9. Develop and enhance skills in lights and presentation to strive for excellence.10. Communicate weekly service details to team leaders for both worship and presentation.11. Maintain and repair equipment as needed.12. Invest in apprentices to develop future team leaders for both worship and presentation teams.13. Help develop YTH worship and presentation teams.14. Assist Worship Director with any ministry-specific needs. Overall Weekend Responsibilities: 1. Direct teams during services, ensuring a seamless flow of events.2. Coordinate the overall service flow, including announcements and prayer/praise segments.3. Help lead rehearsals and sound checks for worship team.4. Oversee media presentations during worship services, rehearsals, and sound checks.5. Cultivate an irresistible worship environment that inspires congregants.6. Strive for presentation excellence in every service by overseeing team leaders and Moment Makers. Compenstation :Part-Time Roles: $12,0000-$20,000Both Roles: $34,000-$40,000 *Other : There is the option to also work part time at the coffee house that is located at our church during the week. *** Along with your resume, please be sure to share any videos, documents, graphics, that would help us better gauge your ability and experience.
