Real Estate Accounting Clerk

We're hiring a detail-oriented accountant to join our expanding real estate team! You'll reconcile accounts, keep track of accounts payable and receivable, and organize all our financial records. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating order out of chaos and wants to see the impact their job makes on a daily basis. Responsibilities: --- Produce regular journal entries to post to the general ledger --- Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost --- Look over accounts payable and receivable regularly to ensure every invoice and expense report to evaluate accuracy --- Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly --- Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closings Qualifications: --- Must have high school diploma or GED, college degree helpful but not required --- Has strong abilities in communication, both in writing and by phone --- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks --- Experience in real estate industry preferred --- Familiar with GAAP About Company: Total Management NYC is a professional property management firm that specializes in residential Co-op, Condominium & Multi-family property management in New York City.
