Alaskan Malamute Dog for Adoption in Rockaway, New Jersey, 07869 USNickname: XP Jaskier - Wayne, NJ Posted Breed: Alaskan Malamute (medium coat). This gorgeous boy is Jaskier and he needs a new home with a yard where this big boy can stretch his legs! He is 2 years old, weighs 90 pounds, plus he is neutered and up to date on his shots (good until 1/2025) - he's a healthy happy young boy! Jaskier LOVES other dogs, big and small, and it would be wonderful if he could find a home that has another dog to be his buddy. He is also good with children. He has never been exposed to cats though. Jaskier is housetrained. When he was 6 months old he went to a board & train program by K9 Nanni in North Arlington, NJ - he is a very smart boy with lots of energy! Jaskier does not like to be crated so his owner leaves him loose in the kitchen with a gate up. He walks best with a Gentle Leader leash as it is in his DNA to pull on the leash (as if he's leading a dog sledding team!) But he is a wonderful dog and his owner is hoping to find an active home where he will be loved and happy and get plenty of exercise! Jaskier is NOT with 11th Hour Rescue but we are helping network him for a suitable home.
