Dachshund Mix Dog for Adoption in FAIRLAWN, Ohio, 44310 USNickname: Billy Posted Breed: Dachshund / Hound / Mixed (short coat). Meet Billy! He is a 6 months and weights 20 lbs. We were told he was a Dachshund mix. He came from a Hoarding situation in Kentucky. There were several other breeds including Beagles in the home, so it is hard to tell what he is mixed with. He is slightly shy at first but after about 5 minutes he is on your lap ready for snuggles and pets. He is super sweet. He does get along with other dogs. He does seem to want to guard his toys and bones, but he just seen them for the first time this week ever in his life. He stops when he is told NO and goes back to sharing. He is doing great with his house breaking and sleeps in a crate at night and while his foster mom is away. With some basic manners training he is going to make a great dog. He has not been around kids or cats. This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered or will go home with an already scheduled appointment.
