Meet Calypso an adorable 3 month old Great Pyrenees mix with a face that melts the hearts of everyone. Calypso is currently 18 lbs. and expected to be a large size dog of up to 100 pounds. That certainly is our guess but we do not need guesses when it comes to how sweet our girl Calypso is. Calypso and her brother Churchill came to the rescue looking for the next step in their journey to find the ideal home. Although they are a bit on the reserved side with their shyness, they will warm up to affection and a warm hug. Both will need a dedicated loving family to help bring out their inner confidence. Calypso gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes. She would be a good candidate for a home with feline friends. Calypso would do well in a home with children of all ages, and make for a great addition to the family! Calypso has been working on house training, crate, and leash training. It is important to remember there is an adjustment period so continued work on training will be ideal to help Calypso get adjusted to her new life and learn her skill set. With a medium energy level, Calypso will fit in perfectly with an equally active family that can provide her with continued training, regular exercise and a bunch of socialization. Lots of time with the family will be the highlight of her days. Calypso would love to spend time socializing, walks in the neighborhood, or just hanging out at home.
