POSITION SUMMARY: Assemble valves, and/or valve components using assembly machinery or jigs and fixtures.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Follow prescribed A.T.I.'s (Assemble test instructions) in order to maintain excellent quality standards. * Test and/or package valves and components in individual boxes and into master cartons, marking same with the proper identification labels and instructional materials. * Completion of recaps, production records, and quality control documents. * Routine Housekeeping - 5-S activities. * Continuous repetitive assembling of valves and/or sub parts.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: * Previous assembly experience required * High School Diploma or GEDMANAGEMENT/SUPERVISON * Ensure company policies are followed. * Enforce company safety policies.*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.*WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Work in office environment * May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office settingPAY RANGE: $20.00/hour - $21.00/hourWatts is committed to equal employment opportunity.
