Thurston is one of our long time kitties as well as his brother, Professor. These two came into the shelter as little kittens. Their siblings have been adopted. Black kittens are overlooked so many times. Thurston is a little on the shy side. He can be a little skittish if touched on the head as one of his eyes is not fully functional.If you are interested in adopting this pet please visit www.blackfordcountyanimalshelter.com to complete our online adoption application.Adoption processOur shelter is full of wonderful cats and dogs just waiting for you to come and take them home. Our adoption requirements are that you must provide a loving home and all your current animals are spayed or neutered. We begin the adoption process with an adoption application. Our adoption fees are: Adult Cats $65, Kittens $85, Adult Dogs $105, and Puppies $150. All animals are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccines, on flea prevention, have been heartworm/ feline leukemia/ FIV tested and are micro-chipped.Shelter locationWe are located at 2520 N. 200 E. Hartford City. Office hours are Monday - Sunday 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. After hours please leave a message, we WILL return your call ! XXXX@yahoo.co
