The Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney will work with clients in the clean energy industry on high-quality projects across the United States. They will preferably have experience in the renewable energy industry and with various agreements such as power purchase agreements, purchase and sale agreements, hedge contacts, and construction contracts. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Duties:Work with clients in the clean energy industry on renewable energy projectsReview and negotiate various agreements related to project development and financeProvide legal advice and guidance on renewable energy projectsCollaborate with clients and other stakeholders to achieve project goalsStay updated on industry trends and regulations affecting renewable energy projectsAssist with due diligence and transactional work related to renewable energy projectsConduct legal research and draft legal memoranda Requirements:2-7 years of law firm experience in project development, finance, mergers acquisitions, or commercial contractsExperience working in the renewable energy industry preferredStrong written and oral communication skills Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the state Bar Skills:Knowledge of renewable energy industry and project developmentExperience with power purchase agreements, purchase and sale agreements, hedge contracts, and construction contractsStrong negotiation and drafting skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, life, ADD, EAP, STD, and LTD insuranceEnhanced parental leave for both primary and non-primary caregiversAutomatic Off Ramp/On Ramp program before and after parental leaveVoluntary income protection benefits such as supplemental life, accident, critical illness, and long-term care insurance401(k) retirement plan with company match
