Adopt Baby (Babe the Big Blue Ox) a Gray/Silver/Salt & Pepper - with White Pit

Brownie and Baby were found running across I75 near Wagner Ford Rd. They get along very well and love to play together. They both love attention once they know and trust the person. Baby is a bit selective with who he decides to love, but once he gets a chance to know and trust you he will love you forever! He gets along great with teenagers but should not be in a home with young kids. Unfortunately Baby has heartworms and started heartworm treatment. However, he did not do well physically or emotionally with the treatment. After consulting with our veterinarian and a behaviorist we have decided to not give any more heartworm injections at this time. He will continue on his heartworm prevention that will keep any more heartworms from reaching the adult stage, and just let any remaining adult worms die out. Baby is looking for a foster or adoptive home. He needs to be with an experienced dog person. I'm certain these two have had a pretty rough life up until this point, I'm afraid to even imagine what they've been through. Now they just need lots of training, love, and patience. They have been through some training while here with us but have just started with a new trainer to teach them even more manners. We are guessing Baby to be about 3 years old. He can be a very loving boy. ##1199054##
