Hi I'm Jessie Cat! I had a rough start in life and was rescued by my friends at the SPCA. I am a still very nervous and shy with new people. I am a sweet girl that once you earn my trust, I'll open up to get to know you. Since I am so shy I can be a little bit hissy sometimes, but treats and flick wands are definitely the way to win me over! Just go slow with me and and I will eventually be your best friend! I need a cat savvy adopter who will know how to interact with me. I would love a calm and quiet home that will give me time to get comfortable with my new surroundings. Treats, toys, flick wands, cat beds and cat trees are great too!I have always had feline friends but it is not a requirement to have another cat in the home. One might be helpful in teaching me the ropes on being a house cat!Kids are great but little ones may be too much for me. I would most likely do best in a home with children over the age of 15. Adoption fees are as follows: Puppies 0-6 months: $150Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75CHECK WEBSITE FOR CURRENT SPECIALS The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.
