The ideal candidate will work closely with the MA resource attorney and knowledge management team to support the private equity (PE) practice group by assisting with data management, document drafting, legal research, knowledge sharing, and client development efforts. The Private Equity Resource Attorney will play a vital role in supporting the PE practice group by managing resources, drafting template documents, monitoring legal developments, developing training materials, and collaborating with various internal teams. This role requires a solid understanding of private equity transactions, strong drafting skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts. Duties:Assist with input and maintenance of MA/PE data and experiencePrepare drafts or revise existing template documents for the PE practice groupCurate and organize forms, precedents, and other know-how for the PE groupMonitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to PE practice and industry verticalsDevelop and maintain internal landing page for the PE groupCoordinate with legal education team to prepare content for associate trainings and firmwide training effortsCollaborate with marketing team on firm PE promotion and content creation for pitches and teach-insWork with quantitative analyst group on matters specific to PE funds and transactionsAssist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and resourcesContribute to resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects Requirements:Licensed attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US PE corporate/transactional practiceMastery of substantive areas of practice relevant to PE, including MA, portfolio company management, equity compensation, and MA financingStrong drafting, communication, and organizational skillsKnowledge of industries regularly advised by the firmExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong intellectual ability, interpersonal skills, and technical skillsOrganizational and time management skills with attention to detail Benefits offered:Medical, dental, vision insuranceHealth savings account (with applicable medical plan)Health and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsPre-tax commuter benefitsLife insurance, ADD, long-term care coverageBackup care for children and/or adultsParental support benefits Creative lawyering in a laid back environment is big draw for associates at this Amlaw firm.
