Practice Area: Corporate - Private Equity,Corporate - M&A, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 7 Years, A law firm based in New York City is seeking a Private Equity Resource Attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US PE corporate/transactional practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with the MA resource attorney and knowledge management team to assist with MA/PE data and experience input and maintenance, while also managing various tasks related to the Private Equity practice group. The Private Equity Resource Attorney will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's Private Equity practice group by assisting with document drafting, knowledge management, legal research, and training initiatives. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and drafting skills, as well as expertise in private equity transactions and related regulatory matters. Duties:Assist with MA/PE data and experience input and maintenancePrepare drafts or revise existing precedent of template documentsCurate and organize the PE group's forms, precedents, and other know-howMonitor legal and regulatory developments relative to PE practice and the firm's core industry verticalsDevelop and maintain the internal landing page for the PE groupCoordinate with the firm's legal education team to prepare content for associate trainingsCollaborate with the PE/MA marketing team to strategize on firm PE promotion and assist with content creationWork with the quantitative analyst group on matters specific to PE funds and transactionsAssist with resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projectsField day-to-day requests from attorneys for precedents, templates, and other resourcesMaintain mastery of the substantive area of practice undertaken by the Private Equity practice groupProvide expertise on private equity transactions, general portfolio company management, equity compensation, MA acquisition financing, and other financial transactions Requirements:Licensed attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US PE corporate/transactional practiceStrong drafting, communication, and organizational skillsMastery of substantive areas of practice within Private EquityKnowledge of industries commonly advised by the firmExcellent written and verbal communication and drafting skillsStrong intellectual ability, interpersonal, and technical skillsOrganizational and time management skills; attention to detail Benefits offered:Medical, dental, vision insuranceHealth and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsPre-tax commuter benefitsLife insurance and ADD coverageLong-term care coverageBackup care for children and/or adultsOther parental support benefits Creative lawyering in a laid back environment is big draw for associates at this Amlaw firm.
