Hi, my name's Slinky! I was found abandoned at a nature center in Spring, TX, and the staff at the nature center helped me get to a foster home then to CAP in order to find my forever home! I can be a bit shy in new situations/around new people, but overall I'm an affectionate, easy going, mellow girl. I love being pet on my cheeks and rump, and I also love food, especially puree treats and crunchy, dry treats. My foster home had lots of other animals, and I loved being around my foster parents' other cats, though I was scared of their large dogs. However, if I'm properly introduced to dogs in my forever home, I would probably acclimate to living with dogs fairly quickly. I haven't been around any children, but my foster feels I would do well with children 5 years and older as long as we are supervised when together. My foster parents think I would be a great addition to just about any home!
