Meet Bosco, a Terrier mix picked up by one of our officers and brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 11/17 along with his sibling Bernard as strays. Bosco weighs 65 pounds and is about 3 years old. He has attractive brindle coloring on his legs and one blue, one brown eye. He had so much fun dashing around the yard during his photo shoot. This may have been his first day out of his kennel and what a beautiful day to spend time outside! He chased tennis balls but did not return them. He walks ok on a leash but pulled some, possibly because he was so anxious to get outside. This happy-go-lucky boy has lots of energy and spunk. He was happy to sit next to one of our volunteers and be petted and loved on. His main interest was in scouting out the yard and he covered nearly every square inch of it. He likes treats but doesn't take them especially gently. He seems to have been well cared for. The dogs are kenneled together and get along fine.
