The candidate will gain direct experience with sophisticated estate planning, drafting, and administration and direct client contact with a significant private client base of high-net-worth individuals and families, family offices, closely held businesses, and national charities and foundations. Must have Connecticut Bar admission. New York Bar admission is preferred. Join this dynamic, large Connecticut firm that specializes in representing high-tech and Internet companies in the areas of corporate law, litigation, and IP. The firm also has a strong trusts and estates practice that represents many high net worth individuals. Associates are treated well, and they receive interesting work and good formal and informal training. The firm is now looking to hire more first-class attorneys from top schools and firms. Additional Skills: The candidate must have strong academic credentials, including tax skills and excellent written and oral communication skills. An LL.M. in taxation or estate planning is preferred. Should have strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach to work, and be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
