Location: Gloucester, VAGet ready to meet Mr Handsome himself...Trooper!! this is Trooper. He is at this municipal pound through no fault of his own. He is so friendly to all, and a sweet lovebug to people. He loves to sit by you and give kisses. Lots of them. He pretty much ignores the other dogs but we believe he will do well with other animals or as an only home companion. He walks well on leash but is understandably excited at first to be getting attention and going for walks since most of his day is spent in the small run at the pound. He would love a fenced in yard and/or some humans to play with, and take him for walkies. He still acts a bit puppyish at one and a half years old but most of the chores of puppydom are behind him. All that's left is the fun. We think he is the best!Trooper is doing his best to find his new furever home. And we want to help him. Could that be you?
