R2-D2 is a fun, athletic mixed breed little doggo looking for a furever home. He's around 2 years old and fully grown at 24 lbs. R2-D2 is a Heinz-57 varieties-type mixed breed boy. Our best guess is a Basenji/Beagle mix. R2-D2 is fun, playful, and FAST. He loves toys and looooves food. He's a a ball playing machine best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard and another playful dog. R2-D2 is fine with cats and other dogs. He's housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet R2-D2 o please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopters. You can meet this droid at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-3 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
